Activities & Entertainment

There is so much to do in the city of Claremont but we’ll do our best to highlight some of the key places to go. Claremont is a small town that is known for its beautiful trees and friendly downtown area. Here’s a few of our favorite spots:

Claremont Village

Take a stroll down the streets of Downtown Claremont to find excellent local restaurants and shops. If you have a sweet tooth, we would highly recommend I Like Pie.

The Packing House

The Claremont Packing House is the largest historic building in the Claremont Village and one of its hottest attractions. A century of architecture comes alive with fine dining, jazz concerts, stand up comedy, hip boutiques, wine tastings, art classes, art walks and festivals. It’s a great place for day trips and date nights or to just drop in and hang out.

Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden

Just down the street from the Doubletree is one of Claremont’s hidden gems, the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. This living museum is the largest botanic garden dedicated to California native plants.

Folk Music Center museum and store

Owned by Grammy-winning, singer-songwriter Ben Harper’s family and includes a collection of rare and antique musical instruments and artifacts from around the world. The Folk Music Center offers classes and workshops for budding musicians, a lineup of musical performances from local and international folk performers, and an Open Mic on the last Sunday of every month.

Historic 1927 Santa Fe Train Depot

Visit the beautiful historic train station at the edge of Claremont Village. It’s where some of the photos from this site were taken.

Laemmle’s Claremont 5

In the mood for a movie?  Well, you can choose from one of five movies showing at Claremont’s little theater on 2nd Street.

Restaurants in Claremont

Hungry?  Well, Claremont has something for any appetite!

Piano Piano

Be amazed at the Dueling Piano Show with showtimes Tuesday-Saturday at 8:00pm!
